Bristol, England -- AuPix Ltd., a Bristol-based firm that makes voice
and video-over-IP communications equipment, announced that it has
received an undisclosed amount of financing from the South West
Ventures Fund. AuPix's flagship product is the AP-100 VoIP video
phone, which allows users to make instant video and audio calls from
their desktops. The video phone features a 12-inch colour screen with
touch-screen technology and works across local and wide-area
telephone networks and the Internet. "The additional funding secured
from the South West Ventures Fund will allow us to take the AP-100 to
the next level," said AuPix Managing Director Graham Brown. "Our
vision is to have a video phone on every key decision maker's desk by
2010."
